Is it possible that when Kernel Sanders sold his recipe that he intentionally left out 2 or 3 of his secret spice ingredients. Because he didn't want them to be as successful. Could it be that he gave them spices that tasted similar to his original recipe. Swapped for spices that have similar notes of flavor.
He could of used saffron as one of the spices.
