My short list of items known to contribute the quality of nuttiness:
Coriander
Nutmeg
Mace
Caraway?
Black Caraway?
Spelt Flour?
Note: If it has a question mark, that means I have not personally tried it yet as a means whereby to evolve the characteristic of nuttiness.

I have never tasted lawn I must admit. But we do use a wheat/buckwheat blend (62.5/37.5) for a particular cake and it just tastes very nutty. We don't add actual nuts to that cake. So if it was used by CHS, I can imagine it being somewhere between 5-20 percent. But that is just a guess. |

Do NOT use a Heavy amount ONLY TWO Tablespoons to 2 Cups of AP Flour
