My Amish Bulk Foods Store generic "Chicken Soup Base with No MSG" has 1,260 mg. of Sodium in 7 grams. 1,260 mg./1000 = 1.26 grams Sodium Sodium is 39.337% of Salt (Sodium Chloride, NaCl) 1.26/0.39337 = 3.20 grams Salt in every 7 grams of Soup Base If I add 9 grams of this Soup Base to a recipe that is adding 24 grams of Salt, then how much total Salt will my recipe have? 9/7 x 3.2 = 4.1 grams of Salt in 8 grams of Soup Base 24 grams + 4.1 grams = 28.1 grams of total Salt

Most Corn (Maize) is bioengineered to be "Round-Up Ready" these days. And Corn Syrup is derived from Corn (Maize), so that would seem to be a prime/main source for the bioengineered ingredient(s).
They are covering all bases from a legal perspective.

Who in the past has experimented with adding Chicken Soup Base and/or Chicken Bullion Powder (or similar, such as for Aromat, etc...) to their recipes? What sort of results did you get? Did you properly account for the Salt?

we have used Chicken Soup Base in the Brine and also in the Flour many Times was never a let down in any event we used it
There are many different Chicken Soup Bases and the Salt Content in the Package can be Crazy High
we have used the Chicken Soup Base when we are LOW on MSG as the soup mixes have MSG and I&G and Protein Fats
