Celery is technically called Apium Graveolens
Mexican Oregano is technically called Lippia Graveolens

In Latin the word Graveolens essentially means "Heavy Smelling" (or Strong Smelling).
Gravis means Heavy.
Olens means Smelling.
Graveolens can also mean "Foul Smelling", or "Rank".
Just thought you might want to know this...
That said, both Celery Seed and Mexican Oregano are wonderful smelling. And both have heavily pronounced aroma.
