We split recipe #14 and I deep fried ~2/3 of it, while my Wife Air-Fried ~1/3. Neither my Wife or I could taste any spice level related differences between them at all when eating them side by side. My only complaint afterwards was that the Deep Fried version had an odd and mildly off-putting (by comparison) cooking oil flavor that assuredly would have gone completely unnoticed had there been no Air-Fried version to compare it with. #14 was only the second of my recipes to have used this oil, as #13 was cooked with fresh oil. So the oil's freshness is not to be blamed here.

We did our test with Oil that cooked multiple previous cooking which would have been approximately 400Lbs of chicken or more.
The Oil we used could have made a effect in comparison to the Air Fryer version ?
Based on your trial we will attempted another side by side review for Air fryer and Pressure cooker comparison as I want to be as accurate as Possible

Based on your trial we will attempted another side by side review for Air fryer and Pressure cooker comparison as I want to be as accurate as Possible I'm often amazed when randomized populations of "Triangle Test" participants fail to collectively evolve statistical significance (P<= 0.05) for notions generally taken by faith and/or pre-conceived confirmation bias to be truisms (with myself assuredly included here as one who undoubtedly has many of such biases, often due simply to following the crowds mantra/hearsay of the day and wanting to feel as if I belong). Therefore to validly evaluate differences between Deep Frying and Air Frying to within any meaningful level of statistical significance I propose carefully designed and undertaken blind triangle testing.

Not enough I am afraid..
Even if one particular copycat recipe tastes exactly the same between these two methods, that doesnt automatically mean KFC OR seasoning will taste the same using two different methods.
We don't know how KFC seasoning tastes like when Air Fried.

In addition to my many "I want to belong" biases, I also harbor many "I want to go my own way" biases.

Using any other method than pressure frying is adding yet another level of difficulty to the process, even deep frying and pan frying will give different results, and by Air frying, we are removing the oil factor, which also adds a second layer of difficulty.

DT I've learned to spray my Air Fried chicken with oil whereby to achieve more of an appearance and texture of it having been Deep Fried.

Playing around with some volume measurements today.
Which of the following seems more appealing based on 2 cups of flour
3 teaspoons White Pepper 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
3 teaspoons Black Pepper 1 teaspoon White Pepper
2 teaspoons White Pepper 2 teaspoons Black Pepper
