I just had a conversation with one of the Larger Spice companies in the world who Mixes Spices For THE MAJOR corporations in the Food Industry.
it was NOT Marion kay.
The President said they are running R&D around the clock and many Corporations have Hired extra staff in there own R&D centers to re define there recipes HE confirmed that the KFC chicken recipe has made 2 and working on the 3rd Ingredient change in the last 2 years Due to Shipping and Supply and Demand of the Spices and Starches.
Starches are the Current major shortage in the Canadian Industry, Plus Ton's of Spices.
He further stated the Quality of Spices NOW are over 15% OFF from 2 years ago and some stuff being send and used WOULD HAVE NEVER EVER been allowed into the Market or accepted NOW that crap items are demanding a 35% Price increase over what premium price spices where.
He advised me that our 500Lbs order of Spice blend will NOW have a Price Increase which is MASSIVE plus the Shipping Cost has increased.
combined Price Increase landed to Canada is a 44% increase from our last order.
so in essence a once Pallet of spice costing approximately $3500.00 has now increased to $5050.00 US Plus Dollar exchange.
Stock up on your spices as Prices will be increasing again he warned by summer

I have dealt with Every Major Company in Canada and the USA
now going to who ever has the item BUT they are all Jacking the Prices
extracts for a small bottle are $80.00 on a low end.
Any Major Spice Company mixing spices in whole or Part Prices are Jumping. KFC price per pound for there mix is running around $12.00 a pound and they get a deal with Volume.
I was told and saw that they Purchase from some of the Suppliers I deal with also.
BUT will check them out also.

My first assumption (right or wrong) is that since Red Monkey supplies all of Walmart's organic H&S, they must be a company that is much larger than Marion Kay.

Red Monkey's production facility in Missouri spans 80,000 square feet. They do custom spice blending and private labeling.
