Note that pimento is just another name for Allspice.
I could be wrong, but I think Jolly Chef was the login name of a guy who used to freq the other KFC site.
Can you get that close to someone else's registered trademark product name and get away with it?

There is the possibility they did a lab analyse of 99X and found this combination.
But how can the say as made by Marion Kay, isn't that a trade secret and they are not allowed to say this

MK's "real" 99X lists Sage and Coriander as its 2 most prominent post pepper ingredients.

And Flavour enhancer E621 is Monosodium glutamate. DT You'll also notice all of the ingredients Glen used in his video are in this product in the order he gave them. With the exception of Allspice. Any if you considered using only Allspice and no cinnamon or cloves. It would move close to the position he had it.

It's unlikely that Jolly Chef reverse engineered 99X. As flg just pointed out, it seems more likely that they watched Glen and Friends Cooking videos.

FYI the Glen Ingredient List was first appeared on the WWW. in 1990's but very limited exposure the recipe ingredient Glen showed was from the 1980's NEW AGE KFC. in the first 4 months after Glen Aired the Video the www had a recipe shown with the FULL RECIPE with amounts, from the UK.

I don't remember Glen using Cardamom and Cinnamon. DT Correct. What I was saying all of the ingredients that he did use from that list of the Jolly product. Not he used them all. Remove the ones he didn’t and the order basically matches
