I will post the information again regarding the Lard Tins of Vegetable Shortening and Beef Tallow that was used. They came in 50Lbs Tins and also solid Blocks.
when CHS first went on the road with Bertha he carried the Spices and Herbs mix in a OLD SHORTENING TIN. I have one of the Old Cans that was brought to Canada when CHS lived in Canada. He often had 1 Tin Pre-mixed with Flour and Seasoning.
CHS and Peter Pocklington Signed a Deal for for Gainer's of Edmonton to supply KFC Canada with Solid Lard from Animal Fat. The Deal CHS signed was with and for the New Age KFC and more a Photo Shoot as at that time, as KFC was then owned by Brown and Massey
