when you cooked the Tablespoon Method if was Wrong taste to wacked with seasoning It was back near (if not in) 2016, and all I remember is my Wife and I hating it. It came out being a rather dark red/brown, so perhaps we burned it a bit. We did not add MSG. |

We were hyped for it to come out tasting exactly like the real thing, and even if it was OK, we were turned off by it for failing to taste like KFC OR.

Our Ledington's failure halted our pursuit of the note until roughly about a year ago when the desire was rekindled.

This is what I believe.
1) Vial A = Mace
2) Vial B = Savory
3) Vial C = Garlic
4) Vial D = Sage
5) Vial E = Cloves
6) Vial F = Ginger
7) Vial G = White Pepper
8) Vial H = Allspice
9) Vial I = Rosemary
10) Vial J = Ancho Chili Powder
11) VIal K = Tellicherry Pepper

Smallgree, I used to believe in the Vials photo for a long time too untill I remembered this fact, 3 days ago I have posted a long post in my thread, I suggest reading it for other very important thoughts. But to answer your question: This Vials-set was made and produced by McCormick 1985 to celebrate Colonel Sanders. But McCormick knows only HALF the recipe, the other half of the recipe is made by Griffthes laboratories, and no one of them knows the whole and complete recipe. So, McCormick is not able to produce a full and legit set of all the 11 herbs and spices. That was a marketing thing. No more Vials for me. Deep Taste Just as a counterpoint, while my understanding is that your facts are correct in that McCormick made the vials, and that Griffith currently makes the other half of the recipe, at the time the vials were made, McCormick had long since acquired Stange, who had the other portion of the recipe. So it is quite possible they arranged to put them together, as they used to produce the seasoning as McCormick-Stange as can be seen on some seasoning bag labels. |

There have been Spice Blenders who had the Full 11 Spice and Herb recipe
Durkee's ORIGINALLY mixed the 11 Spices and Herbs when Claudia could not keep up after Harland Jr Passed away.
Marion Kay Bill S made the First Spice and Herb for CHS Independent Franchises in Canada, UK, Florida, Utah, Montana Marion Kay started Blending Chicken seasoning for the 14 Locations CHS and His Daughter Had in Florida and also they distributed to Utah and Montana. CHS mixed the spices and herbs for Canada in Calgary Alberta originally on his own. They always had shipment issues over the Rockie Mountain by Rail
