What year did KFC stop using real milk and eggs in its 'egg wash' and begin using milk powder and egg powder?

It was a timing factor around the Sale to Brown & Massey
Understand that the change was NOT all related to cost savings which many think, It was around that time period that MAJOR health regulations and Safety Concerns for cooking practice's were evolving and transpiring WORLD WIDE.
As for the Exact Time period WHICH country are you asking about because the changes did NOT happen as a sledge Hammer Fast over night change in some regions
The change happen over time period. Which lasted between 18 months to 2 years. BUT there were some Regions that DID NOT switch over because CHS owned the Rights to Canada, England, Utah, Montana, Florida.
I think By 1970's ALL were changed over to Powder World Wide.
I always ONLY personally made this reference
Original KFC CHS made was made with Real Milk & Real Eggs, and the Gravy was made with Cracklings' and Milk
NEW AGE KFC Brown & Massey - used Milk Powder & Egg Powder
As for the year of transition it Did NOT matter / with 1 exception CHS put Vanilla in the Real Egg & Milk, The aroma in the Milk & Egg gave a perception of always FRESH with added Flavor
