Since we are talking spice. deepfriednew101 I thought you'd find this interesting since it contains dehydrated vegetables. Interesting it contains orange peel (silver). I never noticed until this morning the weight (LOL). Ran into it on the shelf and had to grab it. It has the look of a winner for sure. Did you find it in a big-box supermarket? At 26 grams just chug the bag into 400 grams of flour. 26 grams H&S (plus MSG and partial salt) + 48 grams salt + 26 grams of Vegetable mix = 100 grams (which scales to 100 ounces and would make Winston Shelton smile) The orange peel has me smiling. And doubling up on 26 grams should have deepfriednew101 smiling.

also Tomato
For many years I have been taught to add Lemon juice drops to flour or Orange Drop to flour Most Baking uses Vanilla
place drops into the flour and let it ball up then rub between hands of sift spreading the extract into the flour even.
they have done this since they started using liquid extracts into Dry items the liquid absorbs and enriches the flavor

Needs MSG, Needs the extra Salt, I question if and how much extra pepper it may need. But for a couple dollars each packet. I'll experiment with it.
It's a relatively small grocery chain here in Canada. Good products, too easy to spend more $$ then you would expect. They seem to have things our big box stores don't. For example they had actual star-anise in a small pack like this. No where mainstream does around me other than Asian Markets

I think with the AMOUNT of Money everyone has spent buying spices and oil for recreating the KFC could have purchased 10 KFC franchises.

Once again I stumble on to something interesting. We have no name products here that mostly come from one chain of box stores. Normally in hideous yellow packaging. I was going through some spices I have and stumbled onto this No Name Poultry Seasoning. I really, really like the ingredients and weights so far. Not sure if this is a Canada only thing nor who the real manufacturer would be.
