Sticking with Ledington's ingredients, albeit switching Sweet Basil and Paprika, plus adding Sage, plus adding MSG. Be sure to see the 4 'NOTES' of explanation below.
200 g. Cake Flour
27.0g. Salt
20.0g. MSG
6.46g. Sweet Basil
5.20g. White Pepper
1.75g. Black Pepper
1.54g. Dried Mustard
1.38g. Ground Ginger
0.96g. Celery Seed
0.81g. Garlic Powder
0.54g. Thyme
0.54g. Paprika
0.44g. Sage
0.38g. Marjoram
Summing from MSG on down: 20.0+6.46+5.2+1.75+1.54+1.38+0.96+0.81+0.54+0.54+0.44+0.38 = 40.00 grams
NOTE:
1.26 grams of Sweet Basil is the nominal Eugenol Equivalent of 0.30 grams of Allspice. 0.30 grams of Allspice is rather typical for 200 grams of flour.
5.20 grams of Sweet Basil is the nominal Eugenol Equivalent of 0.25 grams of Clove. 0.25 grams of Clove is rather typical for 200 grams of flour.
There is zero Allspice and/or Clove in the recipe which nephew Ledington discovered in Claudia Sanders (I.E., CHS's wife's) attic.
1.26 grams + 5.20 grams = 6.46 grams
NOTE 2:
Coriander Seed is rich in citrusy Linalool, but there is zero Coriander Seed in the recipe which nephew Ledington discovered in Claudia Sanders attic.
Sweet Basil is also a good source of Linalool, but not as good as Coriander, requiring much more Basil whereby to become Coriander's Linalool equivalent.
NOTE 3:
Why switch Paprika and Sweet Basil?
In Ledington's discovered recipe Basil is item #3 and Paprika is item #8. (3 + 8) = 11 [as in 11 H&S]
If CHS and Claudia wrote the recipe down, would they not code it in some fashion? Was switching #3 and #8 their little secret?
NOTE 4: Salt is a mineral, and therefore it is neither an Herb nor a Spice, so it can not actually be the real item #1 (of 11 H&S). SAge and SAlt have 4 letters and begin with SA (as does SAnders). 2/3 Tsp of ground Sage is about 0.44 grams. Is Sage the real item #1. Another part of the secret recipe deciphering code?
