A very good KFC Coleslaw:
8 1/8 cups cabbage 1/3 cup carrot 1 teaspoon onion chopped fine 1/3 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper 1/8 cup milk 3/4 cup buttermilk 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1/2 cup mayonnaise
First core the cabbage and shred it fine using the fine disk for the shredder attachment to the mixer. In a bowl combine with a whisk the buttermilk, mayonnaise, milk and lemon juice. Then add the seasoning. The last step is to add the sugar to the sauce until well mixed in. Add the sauce to the cabbage and carrot mixture and mix well and allow the mixture to marinate for a couple of hours (max 12 hrs).

1960's Coleslaw ingredient list for coleslaw
this recipe is down scaled from the Large one with 50LBS of Cabbage but contains the Ingredients to proportion
Tarragon Vinegar was Bottled by Heinz Back in the Day Now harder to locate But can be made with Tarragon leaves soaking in Vinegar

INGREDIENTS
• 6 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 3/4 cup chopped onion
• 1 cup sugar
• 4 1/2 teaspoons tarragon vinegar
• 2 1/2 cups Miracle Whip salad dressing
• 2 carrots, grated
• 2 heads cabbage, grated
