Could this recipe (as seen below) be the end of (specifically) the "11 H&S's plus partial Salt and (partial?) MSG jammed into the 26 ounce bag" game? Honestly, I don't know, but I might suggest giving it a try several times, with the only changes permitted between cooking sessions being to the grams of MSG, and/or to an allowed substitution (1:1) of Tarragon for Summer Savory if you find that the Tarragon rubs you the wrong way after first trying it. I'd suggest trying 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21 grams of MSG. (with the admitted caveat that once you exceed 3 grams of MSG you have already violated the 26 ounce bag rule) I'f the permitted changes don't achieve a winner at some point along the line, then I'm pretty much at a loss as to how to reach the end of the game. Better chicken can be made with less than 11 H&S, so if I lose this game it's not the end of the world.

I am at 15 grams of MSG per 100 grams of flour and I think it’s right there. It will start to make a real difference at 10 grams per 100 grams flour. Don’t go below that. Trust me. The secret to the note is not about .10 grams of this or that herb or spice. MSG, Garlic and Grease are the Trinity of Fried Chicken. These items raise and carry all other ingredients.

I do need to personally make the recipe leap from 15 grams of MSG per 200 grams of Flour to 20 grams (and then eventually, as you suggest, beyond). But in the above I was trying hard to maintain compliance to a 32 ounce bag. In the most recent cook using only Celery Seed as the sole H&S I had originally intended to try 20 grams of MSG, but my wife was against it. In general, she is still averse to MSG, having spent the better part of a lifetime reading articles demonizing MSG as a major health antagonist.

I really do need to take a decent recipe and boost it to 30 grams of MSG for the case of 200 grams of flour at least once, to see if the 'note' has far more to do with MSG than I have been willing to give it credit for. Those tied to 3-4 grams of MSG in 200 grams of flour (mainly via preaching strict ratio conformance to the 26 ounce bag) may be doomed to never hit the 'note'.

The MSG can help enhance both flavor and AROMA
BUT KFC fire logs and Nail polish Do Not contain MSG.
I Guess I need to stop trying to EXPLAIN throw the 26Oz bag and 32Oz bag OUT THE DAM window they are all using EXTRACT in the MIX
if your trying to do the same without EXTRACT you need to increase the AMOUNT of the Spice and Herb to Equal the Powerful Extract Used.
LOOK at the Volume of Spice that Claudia Mix uses and the Elu original Mix
Heavy on the spice and sift the Carp out of the Spices and Herb into the Flour.
YOU WILL ONLY GET THE AROMA with Extracts or equal amounts of REAL SPICE
