It is very common for die-hard collectors to seek exclusivity in their collections and exhibit possessive behaviours over their rare or unique items. Sense of rarity, status and prestige, investment value, emotional attachment, competition. DF ticks all the boxes and he has absolutely no interest in revealing anything or helping others to crack the OR. Quite the opposite is the case! This is not a collectors forum and I don't want to be subject to his entertainment anymore. Story time is over. We go in circles. Some of us are trying hard to make progress. I know the admin or owner will not care and I hate to say it, but If DF faces no consequences, I will leave. I've been contemplating the exact same thing.

My radical KFC related questions for the day:
1) Will the one among us who first grasps the brass ring give due credit to all who came before, such as Issac Newton did when he proclaimed "If I have seen farther, it is only because I stood upon the shoulders of giants!". Or will they boast that they accomplished it all by their egotistic self?
2) Will the one among us who first grasps the brass ring do so by following the same path through the maze as for the rest of us, or will they blaze a new trail? I recall an old 'Erhard Seminars Training (EST)' blurb which I read as a teenager, and which (loosely paraphrased from aging memory) went something like this: "The difference between a rat placed into a maze offering it a reward of cheese (for our purposes here, the brass ring) and a human placed into a maze is that the rat will try different paths until it will inevitably be rewarded with the cheese, but the human will endlessly travel the same worn out and failed paths and thus never reach the reward."
I'm including myself among those who are following the same worn out paths...

Look I know I bust you @@s on these comments. But you need more than Bill S says ALMOST all good blends contain garlic and onion. So let me help fill in some missing info here. You can add this later to your arsenal of information.
There is an article which can be found where the family of Eula. Claim that her chicken seasoning was the majority of the basis for what CHS developed. And that for years after he paid her a monthly amount for her contributions. You can also find where it is stated that her family doesn't have her recipe but it was known that it relied on a commercial seasoning salt. So IF it truly was a "seasoning salt" then back in the day there were very few to chose from. However most contained salt, garlic, onion and celery seed. If the various sources of information are even close to being valid. This would hold more weight with me than Bill S told you or anyone good blends Almost always contain onion and garlic.
Now put all three of these together and perhaps maybe it starts to paint a decent "maybe"

I seriously doubt that the 'purported' Eula (Gibson? , Jackson?)'s recipe delivered the elusive note. But once again, since her recipe is unknown, the human element is yet again traveling down the wrong path within the maze.

Purely as an aside, is there unequivocal substantiation that CHS stole that which was originally Eula's deep fried chicken recipe?
No obfuscation please!
