KFC uses High there Temp Oils there extracts which are used in the Fire Logs, and other Nail polish plus the extracts in the Chicken.
While KFC list Oils in the ingredient there is NO requirement to say there infused Oil.
The laws in most or all countries allow extracts it be based in a carrier of oil and limit NON compliance listing of the infusion Item as long as it stays under a 15% of the oil. The Law does not limit the Process to ONLY 1 process of infusion so the ways many get around the 155 minimal is Double run the Oil at 15% which will typically have a 22% to 25% extract base.
Now The extract can be re-entered on many items and in many places sprayer even on the original spice. plus many other carriers like salts, sugars, Starch ETC ETC.
