In reviewing Old Spice Tins some listed both oz. and grams conversation it did NOT matter which spice was weighted it was ALL the same weight oz. and grams only 2 or 3 Tins listed both McCormick and Watkins

1) Weigh the empty tin in grams 2) Tare the scale to zero grams with the empty tin still sitting on it 3) Fill the tin about 90% full with water 4) Re-Weigh it on the still tared scale. This is the 'gram' weight of the water in the tin.
5) Weight of Water from #4 ÷ 5 = number of Metric Teaspoons in the tin Weight of Water from #4 ÷ 4.927 = number of USA Teaspoons in the tin

Ok That should help
Now all I need to do Is fins ANY Tin and Try it ?
I guess I was looking for a simple way to do it the silver way works also.
