I believe the analysis of 99-x came out with around 7 3/4 oz in the 25 oz mix. I looked at the picture of the old accent can with the recommended amounts. I'm not sure I got it right but I think 7.5 would be right.
Points to 3.5 to 4g in our 200g recipes.
Let's say 4g

MSG is ONLY elevated today with I&G
it has remained a stable Element since 1955 when reshipped to USA
Cambells and Kelloggs BOTH have NOT changed there amount in product since using it in 1935 with there prepackaged foods and soups

Its used to reduce salt and also used a enhancer for reduce MSG amount both
