I just remembered how deliciously aromatic Sesame oil is. Would adding about a tablespoon of it to a gallon of cooking oil be of any potential benefit to flavoring the oil for deep fried chicken?

There are many times we have added Bacon Grease to our Oil for flavor.
This is Our standard we use Beef Tallow when we want the most flavor. The Beef Tallow was the original Fat used in KFC it was delivered in Blocks, If you read Any old KFC cook they all say that the Fat have to be melted for 45 Minutes prior to the First chickens being cooked in the old days.
You can add peanut Oil also for more flavor baring allergy situations.
In principle when we change our Oil we always add some old seasoned oil, to the new Oil.
So yes add it to your Oil, also add citric Acid to the oil to stabilize the oil.
