If this is the Blend that people have messaged about. It has similar qualities to the KFC New Age Mix. They are marketing smart by not saying a KFC spice blend they are only letting people say similar to the KFC. KFC cannot Do much to this company with the promotions they are putting out and the Company as long as they Don Not specifically say KFC spices ETC, The company cannot regulate or have legal consequence's from KFC NEW AGE when people say its similar to KFC, The company can even say Thank you to people or comment that others have commented that its similar to KFC and NEVER have a issue. The only suggestion we have with the product is that the amount they suggest to use is way under what needs to be added. I think they are using numbers for mixing at a LOW suggested to make it look like you can do more chicken then what you think and its worth the Price. By also suggesting a lower amount and letting people use as much as they want, it then is customer point of view and you are free to add as much as the customer likes for there own personal Flavor profile. Smarter sales the Grace's as its seasoning ONLY so shipments are more reasonable. it was easy to get to Canada. Makes 3,000 grams of breading mix.
3,000 - 480 = 2,520
480/2,520 = 0.19048
For 200 grams of flour:
200 x 0.19048 = 38.1 grams (I.E, add 38.1 grams of the bagged mix to 200 grams of plain flour)
If we presume that the standard weight of 13 grams of H&S is to be added to 200 grams of flour, that leaves 25.1 grams as Salt. This is mainstream normal, and is in full compliance with the 26 ounce bag theory. Once again the 26 ounce bag is vindicated.

I should note that on the basis of addition to 200 grams of flour the 13 grams from a "bag" themselves contain salt, and perhaps only about 10-11 grams of the 13 are actual H&S. That leaves 2 to 3 grams of Salt, in addition to the calculated 25.1 grams.
As a consequence, call the overall salt required to be added to 200 grams of flour roughly 27.1 to 28.1 grams. I prefer 29-30 grams myself.

The Mix is not bad and has similarity to KFC. The younger people though it had similar to NEW age KFC. BUT it was with a HIGHER then recommended Mix as for aroma we were at a disadvantage to get there true aroma as we were cooking in Oil which already had a aroma to it, we did not use a New Oil. I will test some in new oil at the end of this week. There have been many Copycat recipes that tasted better. In Canada it would be compared to a Chicken on the Way, or Alberta Fried Chicken similar, or the Texas Fried Chicken seasoning many small places cook. The MIX is way OFF at a 1 Part spice to 5 part Flour is WAY OFF. WEAKER then current KFC NEW AGE chicken, mixed at a 1 part spice to a 5 part Flour. everyone said it was VERY WEAK that tried it. BUT when we mixed it at a 100gram Spice to Max 350 gram flour it was a very good taste for a chicken some said to salty but everyone has a perception of Salt. Personally it was salty. when we modified the Blend with more Paprika and White pepper to cut the salt, it was better. My though was to mix some 99x into the blend as a Test also. I think many people are thinking this item is a NEW ITEM and just hit the market. The company has been around a Long time, Not a new comer to the Industry of Fried Chicken. fiestafood.com.au/

That's the problem of combining the H&S in with the Salt. You can't boost the H&S without also boosting the Salt at the same ratio.
You boosted the H&S by 50%, but in doing so the Salt (unfortunately) also went up 50%.

you are totally correct
that's were 99x has some Original part of KFC then left the Salt out of the spices and herbs.
they do have a blend with salt in it. BUT again you set at there salt Mix then
salt it NOT only a preference item its also a medical issue for many.

Probably the best way to zing the Australian product (as well as Grace's) would be via adding some 99-X to it. deepfriednew101, have you tried Grace's blend?

Yes have tried Grace's Blend Long before Glen and Friends ever made the Video.
The Grace's Blend has been changed from the Original that Pat was using when KFC New Age and Pat had a court case.
Pat was very strong willed and stood against KFC New Age Corporation.
In the beginning Pat took KFC On and Like other's had traction with doing what they were doing while CHS was alive after CHS passed away the Chance of Winning was removed. CHS still held one High card Ace in his pocket when he was alive. He could Prove that the Original Recipe was Changed and the Franchise Owners that were Long Established Owners had a Legal Argument that the Franchise agreement was for the ORIGINAL SPICE and HERB NOT a changed altered Mix. KFC New Age Corporation was dealing with a Loose cannon CHS. The New Age never had CHS in the back pocket if he sided with the Franchise Owners and NOT the New Age Corporation. Massey and Brown would have paid millions to owners in a Legal Battle. After CHS died New Age had no issue.
Pat was forced to change the Original Blend he was using to what is used now?
Grace's Blend is A flour mix with Herbs and Spices Yes over all weak. The problem also is once you mixed the spices with Flour it does NOT stay as long as a Spice Bag, to be mixed with flour.
its a not bad item but you can only add alternative spices or 99x to increase the Flavor.
