This is the word's the CHS told a reporter in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
It was the same told many places BUT in Edmonton. CHS said 500 Pieces of Chicken and he did say he made the 11 Herb's and Spice's 16 Years earlier on the Interview in more then one interview.
New Seasoning Element ( It was New as it was not on the market prior to Ac'cent Bottling it in the 1950's MSG was NOT available between the 1940's and 1950's in the USA.
MSG was NOT listed as a Spice or a Herb at that time. it was a Element that would make anyone's cooking better. Review Advertisement for Ac'cent and MSG from 1950

it was MSG 100% there is NO MSG in the Vials.
MSG was a ELEMENT and called that By Ac'cent and the Import Laws from 1905.
CHS would have said he added a Herb and Spice and it was 12
The Original 11 Herb and Spices was made in 1939 and was changed in 1955/1956 with a Element.
In the Duncan Heinz it promoted the Chicken CHS Said it was special seasoned chicken and he made his 11 SPICE and HERB blend before he found the Pressure Cookers.
I know many people have said it is other items and people have guessed many like Celery Salt and other Items ?
Since the Foodies have tried to figure out the 11 Herbs and Spices Many items have been added and removed from the MIX and there has NEVER BEEN any earth shattering item. Celery Salt, Thyme, Oregano, 5 Spice, Cumin, Curry, NO spice that has made the FOLLOWING say WTF this one spice changes it ALL.
EXCEPT MSG many people have made Claudia's Recipe with Tablespoons and Teaspoon's mixed up. THE ONLY thing that has made the people JUMP up and DOWN is when they added MSG.
Ledington even admitted there is a Item Missing. When the people started inquiring about the recipe. and then KFC even said it does NOT have all the items.
MSG was NOT mixed into the 11 Herbs and Spices. KFC DID NOT say and comment about the 11 Herbs and Spices they said it does not have ALL the ingredient's
Final Answer in my research 100% MSG in 1955.

One Other KEY point
if MSG was part of the 11 Herbs and Spices they would NOT have to List it in any Ingredient list. It would be covered under the Grandfather clause of the Original Spice Blend which was developed under the 1905 Laws and they would NOT have to List it. Because it was added after it does NOT fall under the Grandfather clause. and its outside the 11 Herbs and Spice which has to be listed.
