This Thread needs to speak to the 2021 Spices available compared to 1930's
We can then break down each item to its general specific thread post.
in 1970's and 1980's the Laws regarding the Herbs and Spices changed from the 1900's 1905 time era which was a HEAVY LAW for spices.
in late 1970's and 1980's the Law drastically changes
the Production and Method of Crop growing changed Drastic and the open air dry and stone mills grind has Gone by the way side.
Very few spices will have the potency of the 1930's without adding more or getting a higher grade item
The i930's also Had flakes and Seeds more then our 2021 Powdered Items. There is a Big difference
Onion Flakes are more potent then ground Onion Powder, unless you know the exact measurement to make each equal
like many other spices. Many of the spice companies have convinced the general public that the ground is More powerful ? BUT this can be misleading in truth.
I DO NOT care who tells me they can use a little powder to get the same effect as FRESH GARLIC its a difference taste in the end yes its garlic BUT its different and if not spread equally its over powering in spots where the powder hits
