I'm sure many have heard Dave Thomas founder of Wendy's worked for CHS and Drove around with him for a long time and turned around many failing KFC which were NOT selling as much chicken.
CHS and Dave had 1 BIG Argument when the chicken was being POURED out into the separators and filters. CHS wanted DAVE to scoop the chicken out Piece by Piece from the Original Pots. Dave said it was to Time consuming and wanted to Dump the chicken on to the wire baskets with the Fat so it flowed onto the wire racks and CHS hated this.
With the Newer machines that had Baskets Dave just Dumped the Chicken onto the Wire Racks and CHS said it was wrong BUT Dave never changed his way. Dave even commented many time

Dave spoke his Piece BUT loved CHS. During Dave's working with CHS many different machines were Brough into the KFC cooking method. Dave often said many got burned BY dumping the Lava Hot Fat into the Separator's and Filters and many Older Pressure Pots failed while cooking.
The Winston Group designed the integrated Chicken Pressure Cookers with a bottom separator and filter system. This created some issues with the cracking as it kept the Crackling amount lower because the Fat was cleaned more. BUT was far less dangerous
