Griffith Spice Bottle Set 1939
I need to do a correction of my Time Line from other post which needs to be corrected in my error
in 1939 Glass Bottles were incorporated by Griffith who Patented the first Glass Jars for spices, They had a few sets available between 10, 12, 18 in sets.
They did have a blend of Salts, Celery, Onion, Garlic for sale?
These were a more regional sales item which did make its way across the States. in the Later years.
When you review recipes from the 1939 to 1945. recipes, did not represent the celery salt, onion salt, garlic salt. until later in years.
We Do know that CHS commission Griffith to make spices BUT they were NOT the First Durkee's were the First know Spice Blender according to Claudia.
