The 'Celery Seed Deep Fried Chicken' recipe. My wife is convinced that this recipe will taste every bit as good as KFC, or any attempted KFC clone, and perhaps that it will taste better. It doesn't get much more simple than this.

Grind everything from the Salt on down (sans for the 'Coarse Black Pepper') in a coffee or spice grinder.

A thought:
If Garlic is a Vegetable, then it would be neither an Herb nor a Spice. Despite being listed as an ingredient, Garlic would not be one of the eleven Herbs and Spices.

Garlic & Onion were more what was listed as Vegetable's on the Original Bags.
Garlic and Onion were a staple like Salt & Pepper were in the 1930's People just used the Garlic and Onion from the Garden

Celery (only) Deep Fried Chicken can also be made using Celery Salt:

A potential compromise for those who prefer to chase the 'note' while making a simple Celery Seed based Deep Fried Chicken:

The Air Fryer cooking of the "Celery Seeds" 'only' recipe has commenced. Stay tuned for the report.
200 g. Cake Flour 15.0g. MSG 3.10g. White Pepper 1.20g. Fine Black Pepper 1.20g. Coarse Black Pepper 4.5g. Celery Seeds

Here's the report on the Air Fried Celery Seeds Chicken. Note that the recipe as seen above is missing 28.5 grams of Bakers Salt. No way to edit it now.
The negatives: 1) A bit too salty. About 26 grams would have been better. Odd that I've been using up to 30 grams in my KFC clone recipe attempts and not complained of the Salt being too high. I wonder if Celery Seeds naturally contain a bit of Salt? 2) No note. I should have tried 20 grams of MSG, but my wife said that since (to date) I've been using 15 grams, this Celery Seed Recipe should use 15 grams also. 3) 4.5 grams of Celery Seeds may be verging upon being a bit too much. This one is a very close call. My wife says keep it at 4.50 grams.
The neutrals: 1) The Air Frying method makes good Chicken, but Deep Fried is simply better. Next time it will be Deep Fried!
The positives: 1) As my Wife predicted, Celery Seeds alone (as to H&S) makes for some very fine eating Chicken!!! It was indeed better than at least several of my ~11 H&S recipe attempts.
The idea of the 'note' from MSG: 1) 15 grams of MSG, plus the typical levels of Salt, Pepper, and Flour, did not deliver the 'note'. MSG alone can now likely be ruled out as being solely responsible for the KFC_OR 'note'.
Initial thoughts for the next time we attempt Celery Seed Chicken:
200 g. Cake Flour 26.0g. Bakers Salt 15.0g. MSG (or possibly 20.0g.) 3.10g. White Pepper 1.20g. Fine Black Pepper 1.20g. Coarse Black Pepper 4.50g. Celery Seeds 0.60g. Allspice
Plus standard deep frying instead of air frying. In which case Salt may be kept at 28.5 grams...

The Air Fryer may have emphasized more Salt because no Salt is lost to the Deep Frying oil. I.E., 26 grams of Salt may be best when Air Frying, regardless of the recipe, whereas 28.5 to 30 grams of Salt is needed for equivalency in saltiness when Deep Frying...

I'm trying to scale a close rendition of 'Dustin's' recipe as seen on 'Glen And Friends' to 200 Grams and include MSG. And in so doing I'm trying to hold to 13 grams whereby to conform to the 26 ounce bag concept. Please let me know if the recipe seen below comes close to the essence of Dustin's as seen on Glen And Friends Cooking. Correct me wherever you think I'm off kilter.
