99x Prior to the Court Case loss was UNREAL and a Much better Taste then what KFC NEW AGE WAS suppling the Franchise.
99x was NOT called 99x Originally when delivered to the Franchises it was Marion Kay Chicken Seasoning.
The label's did not say 99x Originally when we got deliveries, from CHS personally.
The 99x Label's were after 1976 - 1977 Era

One must also remember Anise Seed was sold long before Star Anise in USA Anise Seed which is More potent then Star Anise  |

TCK put 99X under a fancy-Dan microscope. Most "proven" elements came from the photos. I offered my stuff, but had only one taker, Yves, and I mailed him some to his home in Canada.

I'm a little apprehensive about "providing objective proof" that I have anything associated with KFC. In this Biden atmosphere, where conservative Independents as myself can be pursued for things as little as possessing KFC personal property, I will punt.

Smallgree your Guilty by association, You association is Part of this Addick to find the Original KFC Recipe, The issue is your still one of the FEW who know the Original KFC Flavor, Pre-1977 / 1978 Where KFC New Age Took some of the Largest Changes in the KFC Flavor Dump. The were already on a Change and Slide by 1972 BUT Dropped even real heavy in 1976.
I know People will Say I'm Off with time BUT the World Spice Trade issue and Problems Hit heavy with shortage Due to crop devastation in 1976, 1977. Everyone Had the issue Bill S. Marion kay had issues BUT he also had secured some exclusive contracts for certain items.
Chasing a NEW AGE KFC recipe or a Dustin/Ken version is a NEW AGE Recipe which is what CHS Gave Bill S. Marion Kay. Which Bill S re-Engineered Back to the 1930's

I can't say it was ever specifically rose colored, but at one time it was noticeably darker than it is now (without appearing, or being, burnt). I still remember buying my first bucket of KFC which shocked me with it's noticeably lighter color, but I couldn't pin this down to exactly the year. I did notice at this juncture that it had lost something flavorwise. But to me it seems that the greatest loss of flavor occurred when trans-fats were banned and the cooking oil had to be changed.

I recall the early chicken as reddish, and slightly more crispy than the limp stuff it became. I have been at odds with many over this point. When I first ate KFC, the skin and meat kept together. later, if you took a bite, the limp skin came off in one piece. This was exhibited on South Park. Chili pepper is the major hurdle for me. Chili, unless used for heat, takes a larger amount to gain any benefit in flavor. In my opinion, paprika was probably used for color. When expediency became the policy, even under CHS, the paprika had to be removed because the volume was too great. I was intrigued by the testimonials that maintained that turmeric was used either in the seasoning, or in the brine. It has some flavor, but usually is only a color enhancer. I firmly believe that this evolution of the OR began under CHS and Pete, and continued to the present. I guess 1959 is as far back as I can go. By the time I graduated from high school in 1971, it had become very salty, but was still delicious. My parents claimed my blood must have been mostly salt.
