A recipe constructed via following the percentage guidelines as seen immediately above: We made a Batch and This Chicken is Dam Good GREAT GREAT job. we only made it with Wings and got a semi good coating (ONLY DUE TO FLOUR ISSUE) The seasoning was on the Lower side the first batch SO WE increased the SEASONING TO FLOUR RATIO which helped with the FLAVOR we also added a Yeast to help the coating BUT it ALSO gave a Flavor and AROMA boost to a already Great chicken We did not have your old recipe to compare it to as we were changing oils and playing with a recipe. YOU will be the expert to compare the other recipes you have made MANY THUMBS UP recipe A big thank you for trying and enjoying this recipe deepfriednew101!!!

But that it required zinging at some (as yet undefined) level is a bit odd. Perhaps the Allspice needs a bit of an increase from 1 gram to 1.25 gram, as opposed to zinging whereby to increase the quantities of every ingredient.

Hoping to get a cook in this week or very soon. BBQ season is taking priority!
I have FLG 1.0a melding and ready to go. In the mean time I have been working on FLG 1.1 which I will post a bit later this week. I know I mentioned it before, but I'm really liking working on my recipe in both weight and volumes. It seems to help me visualize the amounts better. If that makes sense. It's not for everyone and I get it. For me it helps to think for example; is 2 teaspoons of black pepper into 2.5 cups of flour a lot or in the ballpark. And most of the cooking videos and recipes are in volume measures. So I can compare my recipe to other southern fried chicken recipes easier.
Anyway, hope everyone enjoyed the holiday weekend. In Canada that was Friday, US - today (Monday). I was off both days to show my universal support!

A '10X' version of my Recipe #17, with minor modifications, and with mixing instructions. Enough seasoning mixture to coat ~150-160 pieces of Chicken.
