On the basis of 200 grams (1.7 cups) of flour, my guess of 3.75 to 4.75 grams of actual herbs must be reduced to perhaps 2.75 to 3.75 grams due to the salt, cornstarch, baking powder, turmeric and annatto in the spice bag. By adding these extra ingredients to a fixed weight for the spice bag the spices must go down.

as a comparison one could use the Marion Kay amount of Salt they used for a reverse calculation to deduct the Salt Amount
and then make a comparison if possible Spice Left but in a quick guess I would think they have ONLY dropped to a 5 - 6 % spice with a 2 % Extract amount
I think combined spice and extract they are using under a 8% spice at MAXIMUN of Spices compared to Flour. I'm NOT expecting much more.
In Todays Day and age trying to make a comparison to the 1939 OR one must be hitting a 30% spice
again open to comments of everyone else
