This information on the MSG was found on old labels. CHS also stated in CANADA that he added a extra ELEMENT and he had already developed the 11 Herbs and Spices 16 years earlier. MSG was the un-official 12th item. KFC also Classifies Salt as a Separate Item.  

The Monosodium was NOT a Spice or Herb.  MSG was NOT listed on there Product until after 1950's. They Stated the 11 Herbs and Spice were Originally developed in 1939.

Battered with: water, wheat flour, salt, soy flour, baking powder, monosodium glutamate, spices, onion powder. Browned in: canola oil.
