190 grams of All Purpose flour 1 x 1 ounce packet of Hidden Valley Ranch powder mix (the one with MSG) 1 x 0.7 ounce packet of Good Seasons Italian Salad Dressing powder mix 3 grams MSG
1 gram Ground White Pepper 1 gram Fine Ground Black Pepper 1 gram Coarse Ground Black Pepper 1 gram Ground Red Pepper Flakes

I do not know how much MSG and salt the Ranch Dressing in its package.
I would not forget Onion, Garlic powder.
Both Onion Powder and Garlic powder have been listed on KFC Bags since 1960's but at different times BUT both are aromatics and are used in KFC

Please give details of how it works I have purchased both the Original Hidden Valley Ranch 1 ounce packet and the Original Good Seasons Italian Dressing 0.7 ounce packet. My wife and I are pretty well fried chickened out at the present. It may need to wait a bit. My wife is beginning to complain that this endeavor is becoming rather costly for a project originally intended to save money. |

if you watch Todd Wilbur in the CMT Video he spends $250.00 purchasing supplies for his adventure in the Cooking of KFC.
KFC has a 2 for $ 10.00 deal now which is 4 pieces of chicken popcorn chicken and 2 sides with Gravy ?
So I know it can get costly

he thing I don't know is the grams of salt contained in packets of Good Seasons Italian and Hidden Valley Ranch powder. But since one packet weighs 0.7 ounces, and the other weighs 1 ounce, that totals to ~48.2 grams. Both have salt listed as an ingredient. If I want 28 grams of total salt in 200 grams of flour (such as I do), how much additional salt does everyone watching think I should add to the above seen recipe? What would you add?
