Cotton Seed Oil
I have been asked Did We ever use Solid Cotton Seed oil Blocks in KFC Franchises.
There have been some claims that Cotton Seed was shipped to KFC in Block solid forms ? Who ever made this claim is using to much recreational smoked herbs
There was NO such Thing as Cotton Seed Oil blocks it was ONLY available in Liquid Tin, Plastic jugs or Boxes with Plastic Bag
There may have been some Brands which made a Cotton seed Block BUT the extra Process to make it into a Block would have made the Cost higher and Franchises wanted a Cheaper Oil always
Beef tallow and Lard were shipped in Solid Blocks which needed 45 minutes to un-solidify the first time used.
Cotton Seed Oil was a Good Frying Oil for Deep frying But was more expensive than Other options and was NOT typically used by Franchises In Canada.
Beef Tallow would always Be the Most Flavor Oil to cook in with NO allergy like peanut oil

Beef tallow is the best, and that is why it will never be offered commercially again, in large quantities. Corporate America insists that you use soybean oil, and like it.
Commercial lard has gotten too expensive (I wonder why?) so I have shifted to corn oil, which is also getting much more expensive. Canola oil and soybean oil will never be used by myself. Corn oil is adequate for my purposes.

willie its a Great option Corn oil is one of the more stable Oils
Try adding 1/4 Peanut oil to your 3/4 Corn Oil a Blend of the oils as long as Peanuts are NOT a issue in your cooking circle which does effect some peoples ability to use it.
Bacon fat is a alternative for a Flavor enhancer to Any oils
I have Tested adding the herbs and spices to the Oil over night and Heated the Oil while stirring the oil to suspend the Herbs and spice THIS will give a Heavy KFC aroma to the Heating Oils and Falvor infuse the Chicken

I love peanuts. Today's peanut oil will not set off an allergic reaction. I have read that it is the parents that cause peanut allergies by being paranoid and not allowing their children to eat peanuts. If a young person eats peanuts, they acquire an immunity to any allergic reaction. It's like Okies getting immunities from exposure to the pollens in this area. Never go outside and you became a prisoner in your own home as an adult.
