In many Interviews and conversation from the Early 70's Bill S commented that EVERY GREAT Seasoning Blend has and contains Garlic, Onion, and Celery was Under used as a Ingredient.
I Know that Pat from Grace's Perfect Blend claims NO Garlic Salt, Mustard or Celery Seed in their Product.
The oldest Tray Sheets the KFC lined the Trays with showed
Celery, Mustard so KFC had to declare it as Allergens in the Early 70's and Karl claims that they Changed the Grace's Perfect Blend and Stopped using 99-x

I agree, but the issue with me is whether the whole recipe is in the 11 vials, or just 11 flavorings added to a larger recipe. There is no information I have independently discovered that would answer this question. It is all speculation, so when I work a recipe angle, I will address the vials using both views. Mixes will allow you to do this.

I will state this again The Old Seasoning Bags which are posted and the Seasoning bag at the KFC Museum LIST in the Ingredient's Vegetables ? Vegetables are NOT Spices and Herbs so that Indicated that there are MORE than 11 Spices & Herbs ? NOTE underlined part indicates Herbs and Spices BUT above it states PLUS Vegetables (which would have been a Higher Volume than the Herbs and Spices due to Label Laws  |

WHY DID CHS call it SPICES and HERBS AND NOT Herbs and Spices
The man was trained in the Law and KNEW the Way ngredients had to be Listed He was the President of the Restaurants Associations HE KNEW THE LAW
CHS cut out more articles and Ad's for spices and seasoning and recipes for reference.
WHY DID HE SPELL Certain words WRONG ? INTENTIONALLY
CHS used the TERM Spices and Herbs because there were MORE Spices then Herbs ?

Spices and Herbs would than Contain 6 Spices and 5 Herbs
AND after NEW AGE KFC WAS involved
HERBS and Spices were changed to 6 Herbs and 5 SPICES ?
REMEMBER just Because the TERM 11 Secret Spices and Herbs words are used in the Sales pitch it DOES NOT limit the Recipe to ONLY 11 Secret items it means that it Contains the 11 Secret items
Other Ad's FROM the 1930's and 1940's USED words CONTAIN secret spices and Herbs or contains 28 spices and Herbs which LIMITS the amount to 28

There is no law dictating what you may call onion, celery or garlic.
Of course with the largest amount being black and white pepper, the spices would be heavier. This is so even with modern KFC, so.............

I Think If ANYONE checks the FDA and or CFIA or ANY Food related Laws relating to Label Laws or import they will Find MORE information that Indicated what Celery, Garlic, Onion, or ANY other Herb or Spices are ?
A Prime example would BE why Grace's Perfect blend is NOT sold in Canada, and or why Many items that were imported to Canada are NO longer SOLD in Canada
The Canadian Label Laws are Being MORE strictly enforced at the Boarder and Many Companies are NOT willing to meet the Label requirements to Canada so they Do Not sent the Items to Canada retail. BUT some sell VIA AMAZON instead

I don't believe this discussion gets me any closer to discovering the KFC Original Recipe. If you laid all of the ingredients in the OR out on a table, I don't believe counting them, or organizing them in well defined groups, would have anything to do with the price of tea in China.

It talks about "Vegetable Herbs & Spices" and what they are classified as according them. They were one of the premium spice brands from the 1940's to now.
