I guess then every Hot Dog Stand in America and Baseball Diamond or Costco Can remove the MUSTARD from the Condiment Area's as it's Flavors. Mustard as a Condiment was Rated the number 1 Used Condiment for hotdogs Preferred by people More then ANY other Item world wide I Do Not think it's because it's yellow ? So the Flavor must have something to do with it
The Indian Cuisine Can Quit using Paprika which is ONE the the TOP 3 MOST used Spice in their Cooking

We are discussing just a smidgen of dried mustard, not a hot dog loaded with mustard and vinegar.

Mustard Seed aka powder has a unique flavor profile and also mixed with Herbs and Spices has a bit of pasting ability to Hold more Flavor together.
Mustard Density is much more than other items with its Pasting ability

So little of it is used that I have no problem using it, regardless of the element count. In fact, I always use mustard, particularly in my BBQ sauce. The point is, I don't believe it adds much of anything to the overall taste. In fact, KFC can be made with, and probably is made with, fewer than 11+ ingredients.

It depends on How many Pre-Mixed items you use also ?
C.H.S. made the comment that you can take certain combinations of spices or herbs to create another ?
I think everyone have tried a Italian Herb Blend, or Hrb De Providence to skip all herbs in K.F.C.
My person Answer to EVERYONE is I Do NOT care how you try 11 Spices and Herbs C.H.S. also mentioned SEASONING many times
Spices, Herbs, Seasoning were added to Salt and Pepper
