If you review the Chinese report when they Tested the KFC Chicken it SHOWED * Positive Basil oils a 100% Match in the test also. If Basil shares its oils with perhaps a half dozen or more other herbs/spices, then how can Basil ever be 100% positively identified? At best the test can only conclude that due to the detected oils Basil might be what is present. And pretty much the same goes for all oil containing herb and/or spice ingredients, unless they have highly unique oil markers not to be found elsewhere.
And that's why there are many paths to grasping the brass ring. You don't taste herbs and spices, you taste their oils. Get the oils in the ballpark and you will get the taste in the ballpark. Regardless of how you get there.
The door is clearly open to substitutions. There is no need to see the real recipe. What you claim to possess is potentially a legal nightmare just waiting to happen. Do you intend to sell it (or sell access to it) above board and out in the open? If not, what is it's worth to you?
Your "share the same oils" thing is rubbish. There's many herbs/spices that share the same oils but still taste nothing alike. You are only making it more complicated than it needs to be. You cannot sub one spice with another just because they "share similar oils" they still don't have the exact same oil content, and have different flavour. Nigella seed and Ajowan seed smell similar to me from their high Thymol content, but guess what? you aren't getting the flavour of Nigella from Ajowan seed.

Neither Kentucky Fried Chicken nor KFC have ever tasted Italian to me. A number of the many Pizza shops around me serve deep fried Chicken that both tastes Italian and tastes awful. You either a shill, or you just bad at this lol. Just because you use Italian herbs doesn't mean it will end up tasting "italian"

Italian Seasoning is not a set recipe. It is a classification. The formula used is in the eye of the beholder. It is quite possible that CHS included herbs into "Italian Seasoning" to reduce the number of ingredients in the OR to make it easier to claim "11 Ss&Hs". I like that idea, never thought of it like that and it's very possible. But one thing i can say with absolute certainty is that there's more than 11 individual herbs/spices. "but how can you be absolute certain, you don't have the recipe!" because if you have an understanding of cooking, and herbs/spices you will know that NO combination of 11 herbs/spices is ever going to get you the flavour with natural herbs/spices. Maybe with some lab modified shit with oils, etc could you reduce the amount of herbs/spices needed but then it's not original, and fake. More impressive to get the real flavour with natural ingredients. And i wasn't quoting you specifically smallgree, was just in general to anyone who thinks that.

It's funny how they put hints in the vials tho. Ya they put hints in like they want people to crack the recipe, but then if they actually do, then what? i doubt they will be getting any prize like the guy on twitter. I've already discovered more than most and they haven't given me shit!

The proof in the pudding is that Every Herb has Oils is relevant in the Test that was done with 99-x.
The test were INCONCLUSIVE in many WAYS Because they DID NOT pay for Complete testing to determine the future breakdown. Which Makes sense as the Company who was doing the Test did not care about what they were testing and only cared about the Cash they made doing the Test. Which is like many industry testing Companies Who Even test DNA?
All Herbs Have oil Prominent in Growing which is Why they can be Turned into Essential Oils so Effectively. FIND TWO essential Oils that are Similar in Herbs that You can use in Cooking? Spend the Money and Buy some Tellicherry Extract It's $90.00 a Ounce Many of the Other Ones like Sage which is $60.00 are Powerful and can infuse ANY Dish of Flour or Salt with ONE DROP
Basil was Found in the Chinese Test as a 100% MATCH in NEW AGE CHICKEN.
everyone has the right to think what they want and use what they want WHAT the Majority are NOT understanding is that Pre-1970 the KFC Chicken Had VERY visual Herbs which disappeared with NEW AHE Chicken when they used Oils

I have been thinking a lot about all of the "hints" that have been given throughout the years. I'll point to Ledington's as an example. If a major part of a recipe is revealed, as in a hint, but the important aromatics are not included, then the experimentation with those ingredients will fail, and hopefully (as far as KFC is concerned) those elements will be discarded and ignored. Then the recipe will never be discovered.
Another example is the 11 vials. Put some elements under their specific alphabetical letters (I've always been suspicious that letters were used, not numbers), but not others. Since all are not under "letters", the hints are missed. One could imagine all kinds of reasons for this charade. I can see 7 possible elements listed under there alphabetical letter, and 4 not. Are these 4, or the 7, the keys to the note? Hide in plain sight? If this is correct, then vial J must be juniper berries. Sure looks like minced juniper berries.
These are just examples.
