Pre 11 Herbs and Spices Original Recipe
C.H.S. admitted to adding Flour, Salt, Pepper as the Starter for Fried Chicken
this was the First Fried Chicken most made except C.H.S. used more volume then OTHERS as He measured with Tablespoons while Most used the tsp.
so His Salt and Pepper were 3 times more than the average
He then commented He used the Herbs and SEASONING which His family liked NEXT, and he had approximately 9 more ingredients added to the Flour Salt and Pepper BUT he was not done and then added the 10 & 11 ingredients which he was using in 1939 Before the Pressure Cooker.
Now ANYONE who think C.H.S. was mixing 25lbs of flour originally in 1939 is OFF THEIR ROCKER looking for MARBELS.
He was working with 2.5Lbs Chicken and ONLY cooking 1 Bird at a time.
If you can't make Fried chicken with 2 Cups of Flour for a 2.5lbs chicken you Do Not know how to cook.
Celery, Garlic, Onion, Parsley were always Fresh and thyme rosemary oregano tarragon where rubbed or leaf NOT powdered.
In 1939 there was NOT thousands of spices and ONE of the most versatile ingredient was Poultry Seasoning (The Number 1 multi ingredient Item that was the BEST SELLER FOR EVERY Spice Company Known for decades and decades) second only to Chili Powder for the Pre-mixed multi ingredient items.
The Number 1 ingredient to add in to Baked recipes was WHOLE Mace ground as it was much cheaper to Buy Whole Mace than pre ground.

"PLEASE DO NOT USE Tarragon that would make it Wrong in the 1966 Court Case Famous fried chicken NO OMG you are wrong willie I can hear it NOW Tarragon Vinegar Only in the Coleslaw"
"Celery, Garlic, Onion, Parsley were always Fresh and thyme rosemary oregano tarragon where rubbed or leaf NOT powdered."
Contradiction. There are only three possibilities when a contradiction arises. 1) There is a 50% possibility that one could be true; 2) 100% chance that one is false; 3) Good chance (50% to 75%) that both could be false.
You folks make the call. For me, judgment has been made.
