Why do you then keep posting recipes that would include Clove as part of the seasoning if you know better? Are you simply contradicting yourself again, or deliberately pushing people to use incorrect ingredients? Which one is it? Clove was only used in the brine for flavour NOT in the 11 herb and spices Sep 3, 2020 at 2:44pm

If, as stated, this recipe is intended to be added to 2.5 cups (presumably here, Metric cups) of Flour, then when scaled down to 200 grams of Flour this recipe would be using ~2.4 grams of Allspice and ~1.2 grams of Clove. That's a lot of Eugenol!!! (Recall that Glen faulted Dustin's recipe for having too much Eugenol [which Glen called Clove], and it had only about a quarter of this amount)
Also ~2.4 grams of Oregano. That ought to knock your socks off...
And there ought to be enough pine within the ~1.5 grams of Rosemary to curl your toes after your socks have been knocked off.

Not one of the recipes he has posted have been viable. period.
Put it this way IF, and we know it's not true. He had a real OR recipe. It would be easy for him and all his expertise to substitute a few things in. Not lose the essence or note of the recipe. And he would be breaking no non-disclosure anything. Savory for Thyme + Marjoram. Allspice for cinnamon, clove and nutmeg etc. And there are lot's more he could twist a bit.

Clove was a replacement that K.F.C. used
View C.H.S. Interviews
He makes comments and had a Lawsuit that was VERY specific "Collectomatic engineers were mixing 2 or 3 Spices to try and make recreate 1 spice"
They Tried to Skip on Jamaican Pimento - Allspice with a cross blend
HEY EAST Frisian Your comments ONLY Prove HOW little educated YOU are in the History of Cooking and Common sense.
DO YOU KNOW WHY CLOVE WAS USED IN THE 1930's BY Butchers ? ANSWER THE QUESTION and Try and Prove your NOT full of Chicken feathers
