Here it is folks, NIGELLA SEED! is in the recipe and is the black vial. How did i make this discovery? well i bought some of the modern O.R drumsticks and picked some of the black specs off because i thought they were black pepper, and wanted to see how their pepper tasted. Well to my surprise, i did not get a pepper taste, but instead the distinct taste of NIGELLA SEED! when i first ever tasted them on turkish bread i really thought they were in the recipe but i kept getting distracted with Sanders statement of "common to everyones shelf"
They do not work in powdered form and need to be broken down into tiny specs which act as a garnish on the chicken. Remember Colonel Sanders liked to bake bread?
Also, the 11th ingredient is chicken boullion. I owe credit to kaweempo for this discovery but i think i discovered something even further than he did. The two light coloured vials are together to represent "11" and the yellow vial is perfectly centered in the middle of the vials.

The black specs I separated from my 1998 KFC seasoning definitely were not pepper. I thought they might be "ash" to look like pepper. I've used chicken bouillon but there are so many chemicals in it I quit using it. I make my own broth now, but I'm still looking for a natural bouillon. I'm not sure what you mean by the two light vials are "11". If they both count as one, then why, and that leaves an ingredient excluded.

Also, I believe vial K is garlic salt. Notice some of the particles are white but some are black? another interesting thing about the black vial is that it is placed after the letter b so could be hint as in " b c" black cumin? and if you look closely at it, it seems to be grainy and also white spec. Nigella seed can have some whiteness on inside of the seed when it is broken up.
The reason i say this is one of the biggest discoveries is because it finally reveals that the black vial is NOT vanilla, and also reveals that Sanders statement about the recipe only having common ingredients is wrong.
Also, i believe custard powder could be mixed into the flour separate to the herbs/spices and that this is where the actual vanilla taste comes from that i have detected. I did cook up some recipes with a bit of custard powder mixed into the flour and it does add something to the cooking note, and you also don't need to use corn flour because the custard powder is pretty much just flavoured corn flour.

I've always maintained that CHS lied out his ass, as the keeper of a secret would. I'm glad someone else has noticed that the vials being lettered, instead of numbered, is suspicious. I like your take on them, and will take a look. Vial K has always been an enigma. It's presence has always complicated the idea that the peppers were, or were not, in the vials. The closest "non-pepper" photo I've found for vial K has been oregano. I'll have to take a close look to find garlic salt. I confess that as a pack-rat, I have many old, old bottles of "things" sitting around to see how age and air affect them. I've been looking since the 90s. I do believe there are codes in those vials.

Vial K really looks like 100% garliK salt to me. Alot of people thought vial C was garlic that had turned black, well i did consider that when considering the fact that garlic turns black under heat, and that's why in vial K it has black specs because it is garlic turned black, and you can clearly see the salt particles in between. So this proves pepper is NOT part of the 11 herbs/spices which means people counting them as 2 in a recipe are atleast TWO ingredients short, EVERY recipe they have attempted. This is what happens when you stay in a narrow mind. |

Would someone care to fill me in on the “Vial” Theory? As a newbie, I feel like I’m missing out on a good movie there. And the same goes for the Winston Sheldon which seems to have come and gone.
Regarding the Vials, how do we know they were not a product of the frat boys in the Marketing Department? If the origins are indeed real, and I would imagine there would also be a complicated arguments for the veracity of the vials and their contents.
If real, how the contents would age given the ph and oxygen contents, the additives and preservatives since the zeal for organic might not have been around then. I would think the USDA would have a whole library of the all spices as they age.

They were Originally Photo's By Brian B a Professional photographer. Who Claims to Have more Photo's BUT wanted a High Dollar for release for them claiming COPYRIGHT Protection of ALL PHOTO's
There have been many who tried to Communicate with Brian B BUT it seems to be something maybe others may have more success with ?
K.F.C. NEW AGE pulls the Vials out occasionally for a Photo op's but they always seem to cover part of the Vials Now with a arm holding it like a Child.
There have been many who have enhanced the Photo's also.

Thank you, DFN101! That certainly was a bold marketing move by McCormicK. Makes me wonder if anyone lost their job in not knowing that there will of course be an in-depth analysis of the pictures.
ChickenMan, could Brassica Nigra also be a contender as some forum members have postulated mustard as one of the ingredients? After all, I wouldn’t discount a radish like aroma in the Original Kentucky Fried Chicken.
