Her is a Question for the MASSES.
K.F.C. for Decades and We all have seen Videos of the Staff Pouring Salt and Seasoning Plus a bag of Milk/Egg powder into the Lugs ONTOP of flour.
WHY would K.F.C. Be adding Salt to the Seasoning MIX when they are adding a Separate Bag of Salt already into the MIX ?
The amount of Salt that would have been added to the 26oz Bags would have NOT created a Anti-Caking effect and On many ingredients like it shows Anti-Caking items on the list PLUS salt ?
The answer is the Salt in the Seasoning Bags is the CARRIER for the Extracts like Vegetable ingredient's and Herb Extracts and even Pepper extract.
The extracts used are either a water or Oil liquid sprayed onto the Salt.
FDA and CFIA allow extracts to be sprayed onto Salt and then Do NOT have to list the Extract names as IT ALL becomes classified as SALT
so in DATA and Print any infused Salts are listed as SALT
