Very interesting ingredients. Should be 1930s, but not too sure. Grains of Paradise particularly.

Did Grain of paradise not get bounced around on Ken's aka Dustin site ? I don't know what you mean by bouncing around, but Grains of Paradise were mentioned only a few times on the other forum and there isn't a single report of anyone who tried it in fried chicken. You are pretty well informed about "Ken aka Dustin's" forum for someone who got banned quite a while ago. Wasn't this discussed after your time?

FYI and Others who many have Not heard of it
There were some who derived that Grain of paradise was what caused the Black Spec's when cooked BUT that was what some thought.
When test is Fried chicken Personally it had Pepper Taste BUT a after taste.
If anyone could substantiate that it was available in easy access back in the 1930's or even 1950's but it seem to be as allusive as Coriander, and other Spices, or even find it listed in OLD recipe's ?
It was a Botanical Item used for Medical purpose and mixed for Prescriptions from Doctors in the 20's and 30's
