Celery/mustard 100% in the recipe. If you can't see that, then goodluck ever cracking the rest of it. And mustard is for flavour, it adds great flavour.
I always felt both were in it from my early days of trying to crack the recipe, but once i started reading on these forums people steered me away from them. That's why i don't really listen to what people say on here anymore because i've realized most haven't got a clue and only guessing/ opinion. I stick to my own instincts now. Also, i've detected both of them through eating modern O.R.

With DF and Kaweempo around, holding onto the title of the ultimate clown is a tough nut to crack, Chickenman . It’s quite a skill to be so self-assured while juggling contradictory statements within such a short time period. You went from being open minded about being wrong (Mar 24, 2023 at 3:44am) and considering it impossible for you to ever crack the recipe 100% (Mar 30, 2023 at 12:12am; Mar 26, 2023 at 5:12am) to ultimate cockiness in no time. On a platform where people come together to crack the OR, you even have the audacity to admit you do not want anyone else to succeed: “I don't mind revealing it [vanilla] is in the recipe because I know it alone is nowhere near enough for you to crack the recipe.” (May 16, 2023 at 2:59am) We all change our minds from time to time and switch ingredients. But let’s have a quick look at some of your recent comments and see how much of an expert you are and how quickly you completely change yours. You are the very reason why I am glad I never shared any of my recipes. Ungrateful, useless and arrogant parasites. CORIANDER
Mar 2, 2023 at 12:20pm I have completely ruled out coriander now Apr 16, 2023 at 1:34am Coriander seed is 100% in the recipe (imo) and nobody can change my mind now. VANILLA
Feb 27, 2023 at 1:55am I am fully convinced there is no actual vanilla in the recipe May 14, 2023 at 4:40am You need actual vanilla, real or fake. ALLSPICE
Feb 18, 2023 at 12:19am Even if the recipe had cinnamon, nutmeg, clove etc i would still use allspice. Apr 19, 2023 at 4:40am Also, you don't understand even basic cookery. Because if you did, you'd know there is no reason to include both cloves/allspice. MEXICAN OREGANOApr 3, 2023 at 10:59pm Mexican oregano is bland and lacks flavour Apr 6, 2023 at 7:56am I checked and tasted my Mexican oregano again, yeah this stuff is definitely in the recipe I'll stop here. This is enough to show your taste and flavour perception is of no value, Mr 100%. To anyone.

Your opinion doesn't change the fact i believe celery/mustard is 100% in the recipe. I never asked for your approval? i may have changed my mind on other spices before, but i will never change it about celery/mustard

I have eaten real KFC 3 times in the last few months. In all 3 Salt and pepper (and not enough pepper) where present. Batch 1 that was it. Batch 2 I got a bit of a taste of garlic on a couple pieces. Batch 3 on the backside of one thigh. In one lonely fold of skin I got the taste of allspice. And that was the only piece and section that did. else, salt and pepper. If you are tasting mustard and celery you have a great KFC by you and I would love to try their chicken.

Celery has been a item IN Canada which WAS Listed as a allergen in the 60's,70's, 80's
while NOT it is NOT a Allegan which usually causes Priority issue, while other area's countries list it as a Priority Allergen?
it's processed for Export list Celery as a allergen BUT if used In Canada usually just say May Contain Now. Thus some Labels just listed the Item as Allergen and use 1 Label world wide

I want to consider what mackerbryanee14 posted in his blog about mustard. I also don't think mustard was for flavor, it had another purpose. He thinks getting the right skin consistency. Because it doesn't in my opinion affect the note. It was likely dropped by MK and by extension Karl. I think Bill felt it wasn't contributing to flavor so out it went. Just my thoughts as of recently. Brown Mustard may be way different from Yellow (White) Mustard in terms of flavor contribution.

If you are tasting mustard and celery you have a great KFC by you and I would love to try their chicken. Well i only buy the drumsticks which is double coated. No way could i ever detect anything on their single coated chicken. Also, i will frequently buy it because i've noticed the consistency is so bad you have to go a few times, and then eventually you will get a good batch full of flavour. Sometimes it has zero flavour, sometimes more vanilla, sometimes more peppery, sometimes more of this other flavours. I actually never detected celery at my local one, but at another store an hour away was the first time i detected celery on their chicken. This store also had the most perfect crispy chips i've ever had from them opposed to the ALWAYS soggy chips i get at my local one.
