I have been asked recently What is in the Original Recipe that makes the Aroma, as most cannot get the K.F.C. Aroma NOTE
The aroma IS NOT I repeat NOT obtained from the 11 Spices and Herbs or 11 Herbs and Spices. what ever you call it.
The 11 Secret Ingredient's are the lower part of the Aroma
Make Any they of Italian Dish and add LOTS of Italian seasoning and see the Aroma FLAT LINES at some point as K.F.C. just increase with cooking.
The Aroma that is found in K.F.C. comes More from Celery, Garlic, and Onion then the 11 Herbs and Spices. way More aroma from the 3 items then the 11 secret item's.
The Oil continually cooking creates Aroma in the Pressure cookers.
The Grind of the Spices also create More Aroma when different Grinds are used.
I have said this Multiple times NOW the Recipe in My possession has 11 Spices and Herbs which are mixed separately from the Vegetables and other items WHICH create the Heavy Aroma.
we have tried experiment multiple times now.
Mixed the 11 Spices and Herbs with Flour, Salt, Pepper, M.S.G. and cooked in pressure cooker * lower Aroma in the final cooked chicken
Mixed the Other ingredient with the Celery, Garlic, Onion, Flour, Salt, Pepper M.S.G. NO 11 Herbs and Spices *Heavy Aroma in the final Cooked chicken
Different Grinds of the Pepper also increase the Aroma.
Question For Everyone to Think about?
I have been Around the K.F.C. Product and K.F.C. Family for a life time and Family much longer, NO where in Print or ANY Document on ANY Bag of Spice of K.F.C. or Marion Kay Chicken Season. DOES it say ONLY contain 11 Spices and Herbs. You will find thousands of Printed words which say 11 Secret Spices and herbs BUT never saying exclusively ONLY 11 item's have NOT seen it.
The words are typically C.H.S. Original Recipe, or Original K.F.S. seasoning ETC ETC ETC. BUT the Bags Label Salt, and M.S.G. If you believe in the Vials which Vial is Salt and which Vial is M.S.G. ? it's listed on the Bags Due to Label laws YES. KFC now list other items Chemicals and extracts and anti clumping items on the Ingredient List shown around the world. BUT these items ARE NOT in the Original Recipe ? ? ?
So a Question becomes How Many ingredient Do You think are in the Original Recipe ? ONLY 11 herbs and Spices ?
