There is LOTS of gibber Gabber about Ginger
Keep this Thought in Mind that has been pointed out for Decade and decades.
In the Museum in Corbin is a ONE POUND Sexton Tin that covered up the words GROUND JAMAICAN GINGER. (The Tin Label was un wrapped and Photo were taken)
KFC Printed this sign for the Then covered up Tin of Ground Jamaican Ginger
PLEASE READ WHAT IS PRINTED BY KFC NEW AGE CORPORATION:
A rare and important one Pound spice can containing one of the eleven secret herbs and spices used in making Kentucky Fried Chicken. Circa 1956. This can was ordered by Colonel Sanders and used by him in creating a small amount of his secret spice recipe. This he used for comparison with the product he received from the company that mixed his spices in bulk. Such testing was characteristic of his efforts to ensure the quality of his Kentucky Fried Chicken
SO IS GROUND JAMACIAN GINGER in the ORIGINAL RECIPE ? K.F.C. NEW AGE says Ground Jamaican Ginger is IN
BUT Ken knows better so Go listen to KEN who says NO Ginger ?
Willie Question from a Legal stand point ?
Would K.F.C. NEW AGE CORPORATION risk Printing this Message about Ground Jamaican Ginger for the WORLD to see and run the risk of LAWSUIT HAPPY Lawyers starting a action against them ?

No. Sometimes it is advantageous to grudgingly reveal something, to obscure something else. If they were obscuring anything, I would guess dried oleoresins. It is also reasonable to reveal an old ingredient no longer used, to mislead those searching for the NEW recipe, so many seem to love.
