I was asked about the KFC Mashie
The KFC mashie was a item made more in other Countries, it was released around 2010 originally.
It was the bite size Breaded Seasoned Mashed potato balls which were deep fried after rolled in the seasoned flour Looked like a Chicken Ball style item but filled with Gravy and Mashed Potato. It appears that the recent release in Australia is a Mashed Potato Ball seasoned and dredged and fried BUT they give a Free side order of gravy for dunking compared to the gravy in the Middle of the Original Mashie they made. more cost effective to make without the Gravy in the Middle.
They have brought them back on limited Menu availability in Areas BUT it's more off the Menu then On the Menu, It's like the McRib Disappear for a long time then keeps popping up on a unknown time period.
They are very good.
Another Option for Home style is Use French fries and Dip them in flour then Egg Warsh and season them in you seasoned Flour and Deep Fry. (its NOT the Masshed pototo style but a Great seasoned fries)
