I was asked in Private to review some information from another KFC Forum
I was asked Why Ken would jump ship and changed Ingredients and the Issue with or without Ginger
I have NO Comment with Ken AKA Dustin who are BOTH one and the same person.
I Do Not know what or why Ken would Now make radical changes and Do Not Care. He was NOT open minded when Many others made suggestions and BLOCKED their information and then Blocked their access to the site.
As for Ginger. He can remove it or Do what he wants. There have been To many suggestions in interviews and in Court Cases Ginger was part of the Original 11 Herbs and Spices.
ALL I know is that when Other item's were shown and discussed on the Other Forum Ken AKA Dustin who are BOTH one and the same person. chose what to allow and not allow on the FORUM. or Ken would then Type a Perspective from Dustin profile to sway the Forum. It was OTHERS who pointed out the FACT that Ken is also Dustin and showed ALL the Proof. I care NOT what He does on the other Forum and wish them well with the adventures they are on.
I will await the Day when Ken suggest that the Original Chickens were Pigeon and NOT really chicken used in 1939?

There was also no Salt in the OR. The original pigeons CHS used lived in the Appalachian mountains and licked the natural salt and minerals from rocks. Adding table salt is not permissible. Sorry.

Thank You East Frisian that is a valid point that should have not been over looked.

There you go. No one must deviate from the original "sacred" "proven" ingredients. You guys do the same thing here. At least Ken is showing some versatility. Take the first recipes developed on TCK, and compare them to what is use today, and you will find pretty much the same stuff, ad nauseam.
I have saved all of said recipes, including those from this forum. There isn't a dimes worth of difference in any of them.

Versatility in itself has no value. If a person is versatile but unable to achieve any meaningful outcome, then their versatility is irrelevant. If you are not able to capture the note with the common ingredients, something must be utterly wrong in my opinion. Those that believe special ingredient 'X' will parachute the note into their deep fryer will have to continue searching. No wonder how some people can spend decades wandering the forums yet still fall short of cracking the recipe.
It is important to strike a balance between considering multiple possibilities and maintaining a focused, thorough, and efficient approach. I have spent $100 on herbs & spices the last couple of months alone, even though I had already reached the end of my journey long time ago. Because I am curious and open minded.
And if folks want to spend another decade on 0.075 grams of Marjoram then so be it. So far I haven't seen any better or more valuable contribution from your side either.

This is pure comedy. You criticised us a couple of weeks ago for not being versatile, adhering to same old 'sacred' ingredients. But when people now dare to (re)try or (re)consider Vanilla etc, you try to mock them yourself. This is pathetic. Seems like you have your own biases and set of sacred and proven items. You have been exposed now. Go back snoring. I am not considering Vanilla btw. I was curious about a specific herb, because I am versatile. Stop telling anyone anything. Give advice, feedback. Help. Share your opinion. But stop patronising.

ANYONE STUPID ENOUGH TO USE .25 grams, .50Grams or similar such amount should throw the spice and herbs in the Garbage
IT DOES Zero in a recipe which is MIXED TO 100 GRAMS total
When Mixing 100 Gram recipe DO NOT THINK that ANY Spice or Herb with under 2 grams will Give flavor IT WILL NOT GIVE FLAVOR.

Speaking of the "Other Forum" a gentleman and his wife on that forum both proclaimed this recipe of mine to be better than Ken's latest 7-10-7 iteration, stating it to be close with mine a bit better for both of them. Here is my recipe that they put head to head with Ken's latest 7-10-7:
December 28, 2022
200 g. Pastry Flour (or) 50:50 Cake & AP Flour 29.0g. Salt 7.50g. MSG 4.00g. Black Pepper (Half Fine, Half Medium Coarse) 2.00g. White Pepper (fine) 1.50g. Coriander Seed 1.25g. Ginger 0.75g. Sage 0.50g. Anise Seed 0.30g. Allspice 0.30g. Mace 0.20g. Cayenne Pepper 0.15g. Clove 0.15g. Thyme 0.15g. Summer Savory 0.15g. Marjoram 0.15g. Garlic Powder

To be fair, the only complaint the husband and wife expressed for my above recipe (and then later, in an addendum, also for Ken's) was that it was too hot (as in spicy heat). I suggested that they drop out the Cayenne Pepper completely and try it again. And I expressed that the lingering pepper bite which I (and my wife) experience for KFC OR may be a regional thing.
