It amazes me the Stupidity of some comments regarding the Volume of Flour used for the Original Fried Chicken C.H.S. made.
In 1939-1940 YOU Could NOT waist any Food as it was the essentials of LIFE, they did not have Amazon for a delivery the next day.
There was NO recipe EVEN making Bread that used over 4 or 5 Cups of Flour.
ANYONE who knows any older People today ask them if they ever waisted any item of food supplies in the 1940's.
ANYONE who thinks C.H.S. used more then 3 cups of Flour ORIGINALLY for the Chicken recipe is BRAIN DEAD.
in the Original Days when C.H.S. made the Pressure Fried Chicken The maximum chicken he cooked in the Pressure cookers were 5Lbs of chicken or 2 chicken 2.5Lbs each.
in 1939-1940 the ONLY question that would have made sense is HOW many teaspoon or Tablespoon of Season and Salt were added to 2, 2.5, or 3 Cups of Flour ?
