Yes you can season Oil.
there are many ways
you can either Add 1 Lbs of Butter or Add Bacon Fat to the Cooking Oil.
you can add Spices to Water or Vodka and mix it cold. Pour the mixed spices into a warm oil or cold oil and the Water or Vodka will steam out and the Alcohol will evaporate the cold soaked spices and herbs will then release into the Oil while warming and NOT burn while releasing Keep stirring the Oil while warming. A proper Pressure Pot or Pot should use a Bottom slurry riser catch to keep the slurry off the Bottom of the cooking surface.
C.H.S. use to taste the Oil Every Morning Cold to see if it was Spent as he called it. Spent (all used up, the Oil was NOT fit for cooking again without causing poor flavor)
