I agree to much can muddy the flavor profile
BUT
if you utilize Different Profiles at the Different stages if helps layer the Flavor NOT Muddy the Flavor.
The K.F.C. is a layered Flavor.
Property Don't layered you have a Juicy Meat cooked to the Bone with Juicy Flavor in All meats with skin that has a crispy flavor and the Breading that is a soft Red Rose appearance with infused Herbs and Depth of the Spices ALL Combined to Make a Flavor which compliments ALL Parts until you lick the greasy off your fingers. If the Grease DID NOT have Flavor you would NOT lick your fingers ? I Do Not know many people who want to lick the bottom of a Oil Container it Does not taste good BUT I will lick the Bowl of a Cake mix Bowl with sweet flavored Batter ? So the Oil also has Tons of flavor

Derrick Wilson made a good point. Herbs and spices lose flavor when cooked, but VEGETABLE HERBS AND SPICES do not lose flavor when cooked. Maybe all of the flavor brining is a way to overcome the mistakes we are making by cooking the wrong ingredients.

Have you spoke to both on the Telephone at one time. If you have you are ONE of the ONLY ONES.
The people who have ALL Been Banned and booted from the site are of the view Ken is aka Dustin running two profiles.
I could careless about Ken AKA Dustin it's just funny when you or others challenge Ken AKA Dustin Dustin runs to have the consensus of Ken.
Many have formed the opinion from the Messages Posted by ken. What's even more funny. If you ever had a Telephone conversation with Dustin that Ken was NOT part of and Ken was NEVER party to the conversation and Private information with Dustin Ken Answered the question ? Real Strange. Talk to Dustin and Ken post answers LMAO.
I will say this there have been some Great information on the other site. BUT typically from People like yourself and other and others who Gave them information.
I wish that site Good research and development from the concept of others.
It's through Great action of cooking like yours and others which make ALL Forums strive.
Targeting the Spices and Herbs that were available in 1940's is where one needs to be and working on the justified possible amount of Spices and Herbs which work and can be applied to a complimenting the chicken.
