20, 10, Missing 13 = 87grams
There seems to Be a though that is eluding People
It was Discussed with the Other Forum Administration NOT naming NAME K aka D
I informed the Other Forum information which they Deleted and Un-posted my Posting ?
I had said There are More then one ingredient that have the Same Value
Like 13 and 10 / 3 and 2 Grams
Just because your thinking that 13 is Missing DO NOT think that there was ONLY ONE 13grams in the Mix
Think that possibly he referenced one of the 2 TWO 13 grams and over looked the second ?
THIS was Pulled out ALL POSTING and DELETED NEVER to be discussed on the Forum from what I indicated
I had indicated that weight Perspective BOTH Mustard and Ginger Had a same Dry weight Value and were even Packaged in the Same type and size Tins in 1920.
Other items were shown to have the same weight and THERE WAS NO consideration given to MULTIPAL items weighting 13g BUT it was OK if other items could weigh the same weight ?
THERE IS ONE BIG situation NOW THAT IS A ISSUE compared to 1930
In 1906 THE LAW WAS PURE INGREDIENTS
2023 there are tons of Fillers and NONE Pure items in the Spices and Herbs WHICH Vary the TASTE and Strength of the Spices and Herbs BY 25% so a item once weight 13g or 10 gram and had Flavor NOT require 30% More to have the SAME taste as 1930's
So I always suggest you COMPARING TWO or Three items of a Product Spice Herb Seasoning to see the Profile Taste. and compare amounts needed to achieve the SAME Taste
SAGE is ONE EXAMPLE which Varies MASSIVE.
POINT NUMBER 2 in 1905 and 1930:
There were usually 2 Different Available Grinds of Spices Powdered or Rubbed ? you can figure OUT the weight issue this has on a recipe and TASTE if exchanged ?
