Sum from B&W Pepper on down = 13 grams.
*I seem to recall Glen wavering in confusion about MSG entering the recipe roughly about here.

Since MSG is at a very low quantity, you might want to either consider adding 0.30 grams of I+G, or consider bumping Salt up to 32 grams. It was while discussing Grace's (and his multiple phone conversations with Grace) that Glen dropped the subtle I+G bomb.

The herbs have to get out of the way of the spices, and let the spices each work their magic. The herbs are merely for a subtle embellishment of the flavor. The spices are the real heavy hitters.

I have always though many spices have more snap then the Herbs
BUT
Oregano, Sage, are Two Powerhouse Herbs that can make ANY Dish sit up and wake up. Rosemary is NO sleeper also

I went 20% spices and 10% herbs, with 13% ginger, and the rest white and black pepper. MSG is extra. My percentages only go to the Ss&Hs. Msg is separate and not included in the mix. Therefore you can't screw up your mix with varying amounts of msg.
