The old forum disappeared 3 or 4 years ago. All that research is gone...

That research is not gone. I have read what I estimate to be more than half of it using the Wayback Machine. See link in my original post. Some of the later captures do show simply a SQL error from when the site was down or a Too Many Requests error. When you run into one of those, go to another capture for that screen, from an earlier time, and it will work. None of it has been lost. I haven't failed to retrieve a single page. It would be a simple matter to copy and paste the good stuff from the Wayback machine here. I probably should have collected it as I went along.
I was just wondering why the forum went into a state of decline and then disappeared, thus the errors captured by the Wayback machine. After several days of reading, I think I have extracted almost everything of value from it into Excel sheets, notepad, and my brain. I came across two members who actually died during that forum. One was Lumpy I think.
I read all about TC34d and got the screenshot for it. I wouldn't have put it past the old coot the Colonel to have put a drop of vanilla or some vanilla flavoring of some sort in it. He had a mind of his own.
